I just don't have it in me to understand what drives a person to kill, my heart and prayers go out to everyone in Norway, especially those who lost loved ones.

(all my friends are in safe too) It's the area I normally go, many concert venues incl.Sentrumscene where you played. I have never imagined this could happen in little Oslo, or even in Norway... It's unreal and still in shock. How evil one can be??? My thoughts & prayer with all victims and the families.

Saying a prayer for all the people of Norway in that your spirits remain positive through such a difficult time. I can certainly relate to the events that have just happened. I lost a very dear friend in the 9/11 attack on the World Trade Center in NYC. The essence of what drives these people to do the absolutely awful and diabolical things they do to me at least is just beyond comprehension. These are people who in my opinion are very selfish and do not appreciate life and all of its special gifts. To harm innocent people no matter where you are from in the world angers me from head to toe. In this world freedom to choose your beliefs should be accepted and tolerated by ALL no matter what part of the world you choose to live in. These are miserable individuals who expect you to be as miserable as they are. Keep your spirits high, keep the love in your heart strong and you and the people of Norway will overcome this and strengthen and come together like you never imagined possible. God Bless: Doug

I'm fine myself, and none of my friends or family got hurt, so I'm lucky. I live two minutes away from where the bomb went off, and my work is also two three blocks away - so I felt the bomb shaking my office. Scary. Then came the news of the meaningless massacre I never ever thought we would have in our country. Tragic. But I think I'll always remember the quote from one of the survivors, to CNN: "If one man can show this much hate, imagine how much love we all can show together." Powerful words from a person that stood eye to eye with a mass killer and terrorist.. Eirik

The prime minister: "We will meet the terror with more democracy, more openness and by standing united." The entire city is covered in roses and flowers. 200 000 gathered in peace. Very special. Its a experience that will make us stronger, it will make our democracy stronger. BUT the guy will be locked up for ages and we'll track down others, if any, that share his ... ideology, of corse..

Almost a week and a half has gone by since the cold blooded massacres shook our small nation to its core! That such unspeakable evil could be committed by 'one of our own' is almost beyond human comprehension. But what he obviously did not foresee is that most (if not all) Norwegians would unite to not only condemn his actions, but also to show their compassion, sympathy and empathy for those who lost their loved ones and for the political party which he hated so much. History shows that this type of 'wake up call' (his words) actually have the opposite effect, which only makes it even more senseless! You're so right Eirik - our democracy will become stronger - I only wish the price had not been so high! I'm glad to hear that my Whitesnake friends in Oslo are ok On a lighter note: Doug - I'd just like to say that it was a pleasure to meet you in Oslo. Thank you so much for taking the time to chat and sign my book I've been told that you're a lovely person...and I now know that this is true! I hope to see you again sometime!
