Its amazing, when you are traveling like we did this summer, you just kinda get in a haze and its routine to pack and unpack everyday. Everyday a new place to see, etc as it is on the road. I love it, but mostly for the time playing during the shows. Doesnt matter how hard things are. As soon as I hear my guitar cranked, its all good! But there is nothing like being home.... I cant believe that I dont HAVE to go anywhere for the next couple months! So I am doing stuff in the studio and around the house. I put up some new shutters on my place and have a wall to build. A big difference from what I have been doing, but gonna be cool once its done. Anyway, I want to thanks everyone that came to the Summer shows.... I very much appreciate the support for the new record and shows. I was lucky enough to see/meet some of my friends, but I missed seeing a few of you also. At the gigs, specially festivals, it can be difficult to make connections with you all. But I'll look forward to next time. Thanks so much for making this tour so cool for me and the band. You always give so much of yourself that it's bound to have been draining so make sure you rest,don't overdo the home improvements and take some time out for a few beers - or Glenmorangie whiskeys?! I must go spend some time with my man now as we've been married 19 years today and we are going to enjoy a romantic snuggle on the sofa listening to some mushy music- you're right, there is no place like home! Really enjoyed the shows, along with meeting many of the boardmembers along the way! Ended up seeing five WS shows, Tampere was awesome in particular but finally getting my wish and seeing the band play our new arena (at the front, to boot!) was just incredible, everything I'd hoped for! I was so sad I couldn't see any more shows than only one in Tampere. But I hope to see more in the future. Yes, Tampere was awesome Ronnie! It is wonderful to be at home, but now my kids started the school, so I'm a bit anxious for a job now. Although there is always something to do at home as a mom. There is nothing like seeing you live on stage and we've come away with some wonderful memories again. Glad you are enjoying HOME!..When i think,of how much it took out of me,to travel by taxi/ferry/bus..car..train..to 5 WS shows..(ok,the royal way of queuing was exhausting too!!especially with the paiiin yuk) I always admire you guys..how you deal/cope with the daily changes,new places,new challenges.. but..just like YOU "forget" about all the day to day troubles once you go on stage..so..WE forget the exhausting hours in cars/busses/queues..the fight to get to the front in the snakepit..once YOU come on that stage!!!!yes,very thankful for ALL you gave of yourself..once again. It`s so much more then I could ask for..It warmed my heart to see your smile during the NEW songs were played..Those beautiful songs are already a part of our WS treasure chest..
