It`s just been announced on the CLASSIC ROCK website,that WHITESNAKE have indeed won the ALBUM OF THE YEAR catagory!!! with GOOD TO BE BAD Fantastic news.We all know how amazing this recording is.. It`s very good to see,that many others feel the same way. I am sure our DOUG feels especially proud and happy tonight.. as he has put so much of himself into this recording.. Well, WE are terribly proud of YOU,Doug..you have shown once again.. how very talented you are. CONGRATULATIONS WHITESNAKE.. cheers to you all,boys!

I am very happy and proud to have been part of this record for sure. Im stinging so bad at the news of Cindy's passing....it is hard to be celibrating much at anything. But I know she is up there right now watching. She was a big part of the Quire and she would be happy at this award. Thanks to everyone who voted. You made it happen. Thanks. Doug

So for GTBB to debut in the Top 10 WORLDWIDE & to recieve this award is juct icing on the cake! All those hours away from home paid off in a project that all who were involved should be proud of. This is what music is all about! I have waited YEARS for this CD & the wait was well worth it!
