Couldn't decide if I was gonna post this in Doug Aldrich, Gear talk or here... But here we go...
Doug, is there any chance we will see u play strats in Ws? I know you've always liked playing 'em.
Even though the les pauls fits perfectly in your role in Ws it would still be killer to see you perform those songs on a strat.
Of course it would have to be hss or sumthin' but that goes without saying

Hey all It's ages since I've been on here as I left Snakebite nearly 18 months ago, but I've been called back in to dep for one gig so I've got a week to re-learn the Whitesnake back catalogue. I know how Doug must have felt when he got the call from RJD! Well sort of LOL! If anyone is going to the 'Legends of Rock' with Dizzy Lizzy and Dirty DC at the Birmingham Asylum on Sat 24th Oct then please say Hi and be gentle! I'm off to practice my Cryin in the Rain...

Tour Cancelled?

Just read on Uriah's Facebook page that the tour is cancelled. Swung over to WS.com to find that David's voice/throat has been giving him grief again Poor guy. Another 8 gigs to go too......a lot of disappointed fans so you know that decision wasn't taken lighly. Wishing him a speedy recovery.

ah, well - what a nice sunday - had the pleasure to revisit a grand night at the Hammersmith Odeon (apollo) Odeon (apollo)....almost 5 years ago....and with the luxury of a new TV that allows the DVD to be seen in widescreen it was just mindblowing (again). So many familiar faces in the crowd, smiles everywhere - a butt-kicking band and a very strong setlist couldn't help but smile all the time!!!! this DVD just ROCKKKKSSSS!!...

Just read a post from DC over at ws.com..loks like he`s beating that....dreaded..
laryngitis...and..was MORE then DELIGHTED..how the BAND
pulled together and SUPPORTED him..amazingly the other night in Vegas..

What a great show! I was lucky to have been there considering I had a benefit show that I had to play earlier that same day in Central Pennsylvania and I honestly did not think I was going to make it there in time. Yeeeeey,tonight's the night! Lauren and Alex arrived in Toronto yesterday and are sooooooo excited about this evening's show that it's hard not to pick up on it too. Lauren also loves Judas Priest so this is a dream line up for her.
